Stripped

I have finally finished stripping the trailer. I had intended to reuse the floor but when I got to it I found it was rotted in the corners and decided it would just get replaced. Once again the previous owners had glued everything with silicone. I nearly did not get the side moldings off because they were glued so good. Most fo the wood in the corners where the lifts were at was rotted. I was hoping to save some of the sheet metal but it was wasted by the time I got the trim off. I am finally at the point where I can start rebuilding. My first task will be to clean the frame and repaint it. I plan to remove all of the lifting mechanism and the bracket for the propane tank. We aren't planning on using propane for any thing. We plan to use an induction plate and microwave for cooking. We are hoping to use an electric demand water heater so no need for propane. that will save a little weight too. One thing about demoing a camper in your yard. it makes a mess. I hope to recycle the metal and maybe get a few bucks in return.
